The Hunters Chase neighborhood is located off Pitman-Downer Road in Washington Township, NJ in Gloucester County. These detached, single family homes were built by Paparone circa 2001. This relatively small neighborhood consists of 2 residential streets and 1 residential court.

These homes are situated on approximately 3/10ths of an acre. The average property has three to four bedrooms, two full and one half bathrooms, a full basement, and an attached two-car garage. The medium living space is approximately 2,800 square feet. The real estate taxes in this neighborhood range from $9,200 to $13,500 a year, with majority of homes currently between $10-12 thousand yearly.

This neighborhood is not governed by an association which makes all exterior maintenance the responsibility of the homeowner, but also frees the homeowner from monthly association fees, which can frequently be higher than necessary.

The location of the Hunters Chase neighborhood provides easy access to Pitman Downer Road and Fish Pond Road. There are entrances to the neighborhood from either of these roads. Just outside the neighborhood on Pitman Downer Road is one of the township’s middle schools. At the entrance on Fish Pond Road is a local pediatrician and small strip of stores.

Hunters Chase is in Washington Township, a welcoming community in South Jersey that offers the best of both worlds…it’s far less congested than the nearby city of Philadelphia, but it offers an easy day trip to the city. Located off Pitman-Downer Road, the Plum Tree Estates neighborhood in Washington Township, Gloucester County is a small, comfortable residential neighborhood. While there are two entrances into the neighborhood, there is only one road with residential homes. Plum Tree Drive consists of 54 residential lots. The neighborhood consists of single family detached homes.

These homes are situated on approximately one half of an acre. The typical home is four bedrooms with two and a half bathrooms, a full basement, and a two car attached garage. The medium living space is approximately 3,200 square feet. The real estate taxes in this neighborhood range from approximately $9,500 to $14,000 a year.

There is no Homeowner’s Association with this neighborhood. Homeowners are responsible all maintenance to the property. But this also means the homeowner is freed from monthly fees, which at times become a frustrating addition to a mortgage payment.

The location of this neighborhood does provide easy access to all that Washington Township has to offer. Just a short drive away is Jefferson Hospital, medical facilities, shopping, and eateries. Washington Township is far enough away from the city of Philadelphia to be far less congested, but its close enough to make for an easy trip to our nation’s birthplace. This neighborhood is also just over an hour’s drive from so many great Jersey Shore towns, including Wildwood, Ocean City, Cape May, and Atlantic City.

Students residing in Plum Tree Estates attend Birches Elementary School, Bunker Hill Middle School, and Washington Township High School. This public school district is highly rated in New Jersey.

Market trends are currently in favor within this neighborhood. The average assessed value of the homes in this neighborhood is over $300,000.
