The Ridings is a well-established residential neighborhood located off Bells Lake Road in Washington Township, in Gloucester County, New Jersey. This is a relatively small neighborhood shaped like a horseshoe and consists of only one residential street; Steeplechase Drive. There are approximately 32 residential lots with two additional lots being owned by the homeowner’s association. One of these is a pedestrian walk and the other is the retention basin. The homes here were built between 1994 and 1998.

These single family, detached homes offer four to five bedrooms and two and a half to three and a half bathrooms. Most homes have a two car attached garage and full basement. The average lot is between one half and three quarters of an acre.

While there is a homeowner’s association governing this neighborhood; the annual fee is relatively small at approximately $100. Homeowners are responsible for all maintenance and upkeep to the properties. Real estate taxes are approximately $11,000 to $13,000 a year.

The location of The Ridings neighborhood provides easy access to major roads and neighboring townships. The local municipal building, police department, hospital, medical facilities, shopping, and dining are all just a short drive from the neighborhood. Bells Lake is a well-established residential neighborhood located just off Greentree Road and Ganttown Road in Washington Township, Gloucester County. This relatively large neighborhood consists of residential streets that are of similar style properties circa 1966. There are approximately 472 residential lots within the neighborhood with only a handful of lots being owned by the local township.

These single family, detached homes vary in styles from one story ranchers to two story colonials to split level homes. The average home is three to four bedrooms and one to two and a half bathrooms. Approximately half of the homes have a one car garage and a basement. The average lot size is about a one fifth of an acre.

Just off Bells Lake Drive is a local swim club that homeowners can join for a yearly fee. The fee allows for access to the lake and community clubhouse.

While there is no homeowner’s association governing this neighborhood; it is desirable due to location and option to join the swim club. Homeowners are responsible for all maintenance and upkeep to the properties. Real estate taxes are approximately $5,000 to $7,000 a year.

Welcome to Fries Mill Estates. This relatively small condo development is located just off Fries Mill Road in Washington Township, Gloucester County. This neighborhood consists of four courts of low-rise buildings offering both first and second floor units. The speed limit throughout this neighborhood is 10 MPH.

These condo buildings feature four upper units and four ground floor units. There are several floorplans that are available within this neighborhood which include a one bedroom one bath, one bedroom with den and one bath, two bedrooms two baths, two bedrooms with den and two baths, and two bedrooms with loft and two baths. There are approximately 49 detached, single-family residences located along Skyline Circle. The average home offers roughly 3100 square feet of interior living space. This includes 4 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms, a half bathroom, a full basement, and a 2-car attached garage. There are about 17 homes that have a swimming pool, 5 homes have solar panels, and 3 homes have both a pool and solar panels.

The average residential lot is approximately three quarters of an acre with pride of ownership showing in the landscaping and upkeep of the properties. Homeowners pay between $11,000 and $17,000 a year in real estate taxes annually.

The open space is managed by the Chapel Ridge Homeowner’s Association. There is one open space lot that consists of just over twelve acres of land. There are also two additional lots deemed open space that are both just over an acre each.
